PicoSure® Pro Tattoo Removal

PicoSure Pro delivers ultra-short 755 nm picosecond pulses that break tattoo pigment into tiny particles, allowing the body to gradually clear them. This treatment is best suited to black and other dark inks, including blue, green and purple. We do not treat red, orange or yellow tattoo pigments with this laser. Cosmetic tattoos and permanent makeup require special assessment because some pigments may darken when exposed to laser energy. Treatments and Results: Tattoo removal requires a series of treatments, commonly spaced six to eight weeks apart to allow the skin to heal and the body to clear fragmented pigment. The number of sessions depends on: Ink colour, density and depth Professional versus amateur application Tattoo size and location Age of the tattoo Skin type and individual response Complete removal cannot be guaranteed; some tattoos may only fade. Preparing for Treatment: Avoid tanning and excessive sun exposure before and after treatment. The area must be free from sunburn, rash, infection or open skin. Inform us about medications, medical conditions and any history of abnormal scarring. A test spot may be recommended before proceeding. Temporary redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding, blistering, crusting or pigment changes may occur. Follow all aftercare instructions and protect the area from sun exposure.
